The BTS Surprise Ship Fest is a “ship-less” fest. Our goal is to give authors the freedom to claim prompts that speak to them, without being limited to a specific ship.Season 2: After Dark is an opportunity for prompters and writers to indulge in deliciously explicit stories, everything from filthy smut to darkfic and horror.It is NOT mandatory to write dark themes for this fest. Want to write the fluffiest smut anyone has ever seen? As long as it’s explicit, write it!Participation Rules
- Prompters and Writers must be at least 18 years old.
- Writers must have an AO3 account and provide contact information: Email, Bluesky, or Twitter.
- Plagiarism and A.I. are prohibited, including A.I. generated prompts.There are no content restrictions.
As long as your fic features a BTS ship as the main pairing, and isn’t a self-insert, anything can happen After Dark. That’s kind of the point, isn’t it? ;)Prompting Rules
- 15 prompts maximum
- Do not include or allude to specific ships or members
- Example: Person A and Person B fell in love. (Person C said, “What about me?”)
- Include "Do Wants and Do Not Wants", if applicable
- Be concise; prompts are for inspiration, not commissionClaiming Rules
- 2 claims per writer
- Unlimited claims per prompt. Go wild~
- You can claim prompts from Season 1
- No self prompts
- Complete the Claiming Form within 48 hours
- Remain anonymous until author revealsWriting Rules
- Fics must be Explicit
- No word count requirement
- WIPs are allowed
- Respect the prompter’s DWs/DNWs
- Tag your fic(s) properly
- Complete the Submission Form by the deadline
- No A.I.
